The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

I gave this book 4/5 stars.

This book was a huge roller-coaster for me, and I don’t know if it was in a good or bad way. The beginning itself was a drag for me. It went on and on and didn’t really cut to the chase, it tried too hard to be suspense full. However after the story started, I couldn’t get enough. I loved the plot line, it even reminded me of Gone Girl in a way. While I loved the plot I hated every character. I didn’t hate the way they were written but I hated all of their personalities and mindsets. This novel is in man perspectives and showed us how each person thought. I couldn’t tell if I was suppose to support any character or if I was suppose to dislike them all. Through out the story there were some amazing twists, many I did not expect coming. The ending was also amazing, there was a huge twist, which I loved, and a really satisfying ending. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone who like thriller or mystery novels.
