Top 5 Wednesday- Fandoms

Hey Bookends, it’s Wednesday so you know what that means! Another Top 5. This is a weekly meme created by Gingerreadslainey  and you can find out all the information on the goodreads page. This week we are talking about our favorite fandoms. Now I took this to really mean what fandoms I am apart of because I am more apart of the book community than the fandom community. This list has only  been influenced by my small experience with the fandom, those people being my friends. I have taken mostly my favorite T.V. fandoms because I thought it would be something different but there is a book fandom in there. Anyway let me give you my favorite fandoms.

5. Sherlockians

Although I haven’t watched many episodes of Sherlock (please don’t kill me, I will get there soon) I like to think of myself as apart of this fandom. I have read one of the Sherlock books really enjoyed it and like to compare the actual Sherlock to Benedict Cumberbatch’s character.

4. Whovians

I have watched all of the Doctor Who episodes avalible on Netflix and have really enjoyed them. I also have many friends who watch this show and really enjoy talking about all the crazy things that go on in the universe.

3. Potter Heads

How could this fandom not be on my list? I have read every book and watched the first five movies (I couldn’t stand the fifth so I decided to stop) and I cant get enough. The world is amazing and I could talk about it forever but I wont do that to you guys.

2. Horrorstorians (not final fandom name)

The fandom for American Horror Story is still figuring out their name but it the meanwhile I will call them by the most voted name. This show isone of  my absolute favorites. The plot lines are complex (in a good way) and require the watcher to talk the plot out with friends in order to understand everything that happened. It is obvious that each season is thought of way before it is filmed and is very thought provoking.

  1. Oncers

I have spent hours upon hours watching and fangirling over Once Upon a time. After each episode I call one of friends and explain the episode I just watched and then either rant or rave about something that happened to my favorite character. My friend even downloaded four or five episodes for us to watch together on a school trip. We have even made a time line in which we try to fill out all the things that happen in the show.

So that is my unconventional Top 5 post for today, I hope you enjoyed. If you are apart of any of these fandoms tell me because I will fangirl with all of you. If you would like to know what I am reading on a daily basis friend me on goodreads or follow me on instagram .

You should see the sixth Harry Potter movie. It’s not that bad. 🙂 OK, they do change a few stuff as usual, but it’s okay.

ONCE UPON A TIME! Yessss! I love(d) that show. I still watch it, but I feel like it has slowly gone downhill. It is still super good though. I will always be a potterhead. Harry Potter is life.

I am currently behind but I have heard other people tell me that the show went downhill. I will still continue until I personally don’t like it though just because I have invested so much time into it.
