I gave this book 4/5 stars.
I really, really, really liked this book. It showed how a certain environment can change a person’s personality completely. This book is centered around the story of a girl who has lost her parents and moved to live with her uncle. The only problem is that her uncle is never home, and she is stuck in a house of a hundred rooms, all alone. When she hears about a garden that has been locked up for ten years she makes it her mission to find it. This book had tons of character development and world building. It was written in old english so it was a little hard for me to understand but that enhanced the reading experience. This book also had some really good, unpredictable plot twist. It also sometime changed the point of view, on time giving us the view of a robin. All of these things made the book amazing, the only thing i wish for is that the ending not be so cliche. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a cute, quick read or for anyone around the age of ten.
