At Water’s Edge by Sara Gruen

I gave this book 4/5 stars.

I really like this book. Being honest I really didn’t expect too much from this when I picked it up but I was wrong. This was an amazing book about finding the true side of a person and finding oneself. I thought that the plot was truly original and was a great storyline. It wasn’t very predictable and had a great layout. The story jumped from past to present many times but there was no confusion in the plot for me. There was absolutely lots of great character development in this story. I mean some of the charters make a full 180 degrees. The only thing I didn’t like was that the main character seemed, for lack of a better word, wishy-washy. At some points it was annoying but it didn’t affect the plot for me. All in all I would recommend this book to anyone who is interesting in a novel that focuses on character development.
